A loan of $1,275 helps to buy dairy cows in order to increase the sales of milk to a local factory.

Zulfira's story

Zulfira is 37 years old, married with three sons. She has a secondary education and has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop farming since 2011. This has been the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to her persistent hard work, today Zulfira’s farm has 2 cows, 20 sheep and also a 1.3 hectares plot of land on which she grows beans.

Zulfira has a contract with a local plant to supply organic milk for processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business.

Zulfira has learned that she can obtain a loan from Bai Tushum Bank, secured by this contract for a future supply, within the framework of the Value-Added Chain product. She has applied for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase dairy cows in order to increase sales of organic milk.

Payments for the milk from the plant will be directly transferred to Zulfira's bank account, and loan payments will be automatically deducted. The income from the loan will help Zulfira to develop further her business.
