Ngân

Ms. Ngân is 32 years old and currently lives alone in Ngọc Lặc District. She is an ethnic minority in Vietnam and has two young children, one in 4th grade and one in 1st grade, who depend entirely on her. Though married, she is currently the sole caregiver in the household.

With over 10 years of farming experience, she also takes on manual labor such as weeding sugarcane fields to earn extra income. Despite her hard work, her family is still considered a low-income household in the area. She has turned to Thanh Hóa Microfinance Institution for her first loan to invest in planting acacia trees. She is hoping to purchase quality seedlings and improve her family’s financial situation in the long term.

She hopes her children will study well and have a brighter future. She dreams of selling her products at better prices to one day build a more secure life for her family.
