A loan of $10,500 helps helps a young, Black woman-owned handbag designer purchase materials and inventory.

Jenae's story
I’ve always loved fashion, especially handbags, but my journey to starting my brand, J.Delor, came from a place of pain and purpose. After losing my mother and two brothers, I found myself in a dark place, searching for healing. My mom used to call me “Ms. Prissy” because as a little girl, I would strut around in her heels with a purse on my arm—and that memory stayed with me. It reminded me of who I was at my core: a dreamer, a creator, and a woman destined to walk in confidence.
J.Delor is more than just a handbag brand. It’s a tribute to the strong women who came before me and a reminder to every woman that no matter what life throws at you, you can rise, rebuild, and still look and feel powerful while doing it. I’m passionate about creating luxury pieces that make women feel like the best version of themselves, and I hope to grow a brand that not only delivers beautiful bags but also inspires healing, self-love, and confidence.
